Where do I begin? Coordinating your loved ones care

This was a wonderful panel discussion for folks in the Andover community who came out to find out about planning and available services for aging adults. Attorney Sullivan spoke about the incredibly important documents everyone should have in place in the case there is an event where they are unable to make their own decisions. Both Bonnie Sisson and AnnMary Connor from Elder Services spoke about community resources available to those in the Merrimack Valley. Erin DiCarlo from Dovetail Support Services talked about the complicated process of making the choice to transition out of one’s own home, and into a community setting such as assisted living. I was lucky enough to be to educate attendees on costs and options available to those requiring long term care. It was a very informative event, and many wonderful questions from the audience were answered. I am always happy to offer up my time and experience to those just starting this journey!
