What We Do
-
At Riverside Care Advisors, we provide level-of-care recommendations. With our firsthand experience, we guide families in understanding the appropriateness of each level of care, helping them navigate the choices and their associated limitations.
-
We offer assistance in guardianship cases, providing expert assessments, recommendations, and medical/social oversight for legal guardians, including accompaniment.
-
Our dementia support encompasses education, expectation setting, and future planning. We provide guidance on best practices and effective approaches for interacting with and relating to individuals with dementia.
-
We offer support and advocacy for clients dealing with aging or mental health challenges. With expertise in the system, we advocate on behalf of those who need it. Whether it's dementia or mental health, having a medical professional to decode recommendations and ensure follow-through is crucial. We provide detailed assessments and make appropriate recommendations.
-
We offer crisis intervention services when a loved one can't safely stay at home due to care needs or refusal of care. We also assist during hospitalization crises, providing answers and helping with discharge decisions. Our support extends to situations where clients face eviction from assisted living or nursing facilities, including those related to end-stage dementia behaviors.
-
We provide long-term care insurance evaluation and support. Activating a policy when you qualify can be bewildering and time-consuming, particularly for older individuals. If you're unsure how to initiate your policy or ascertain the required documentation, we can assist you.
-
We offer education on essential information and decision-making timing, along with personalized recommendations. If you or a loved one is diagnosed with a chronic illness, we can help you prepare and make informed choices when the time comes.
